You need to highlight what has happened, and discuss relevant aspects of that experience. Work experience or jobs, which relate to the position you are applying for, must only be discussed if relevant to the position. Prior to the interview, have a list of all of the experiences related to the position you are applying for ready to reference once you get there. In most cases, business interviews are conducted in a similar manner. This should make newbies less afraid and more encouraged. Discover what interviewers may be looking for, but and be careful when human resource personnel do the interviews. Although different people look for different things, by doing very thorough research, every basis should be covered. What you will need to do is be up to speed in all areas other than simply what the job requirements are.
